Entergy New Orleans - Beacon of Hope would like to thank Entergy for their generous donation of Dell computers/monitors and printing of our Beacon volunteer T-shirts. Thank you for your belief in our mission and for partnering with Beacon of Hope Resource Center as we help to strengthen neighborhoods and bring our residents home.
Ray Wooldridge (former co-owner of the Hornets) - Ray made the first donation to The Beacon of Hope Resource Center which allowed us to form a Non-Profit 501 (c) 3 corporation. When Ray made his donation to me he said "take this money and do good things with it. Bring your neighborhood back to life and then help other neighborhoods do the same". And that's exactly what we intend to do. Thanks Ray, for believing in us.
Lakeview Christian Center - How blessed are we as a community to have partnered with our neighbors from the Lakeview Christian Center. They have been organizing and sending their congregation every Saturday and Tuesday to make our corner of the world a more desireable place to live. I, on behalf of our neighbors thank them for their profound contribution.
Past Supporters:
Blue Moon Fund - seeks to improve the human condition by changing the relationship between human consumption and the natural world. Specifically, it supports new economic, cultural, and environmental approaches to resource use, energy use and urban development.
The Woldenberg Foundation and The Goldring Family Foundation - Both have made a significant contribution toward the growth of the Beacons of Hope Resource Centers which has allowed us to hire our first full-time employee. We thank these foundations for their confidence in our work. Finally, we are positioned to make more of an impact in the rebuilding of the Lake Area. Hopefully, we will begin the process of reaching out beyond our boundaries to include help for neighboring areas of our city.
